What are HBJ parties?This is an exciting time of year because we prepare to celebrate our Happy Birthday Jesus season. The founder, Elizabeth Weatherby felt called to bring the message and the true meaning of Christmas, which is Jesus Christ, to the children and their families. During the Christmas season, we plan Happy Birthday Jesus parties for families around metro Atlanta. During these parties, we help families in need and each child receives a HBJ shirt, a special gift, enjoys birthday cake and a program that includes singing, dancing, puppets and much more. Volunteer OpportunitiesWe need volunteers to help set up and prepare for each party, to help pass out gifts, balloons, and other activities during the party and also to help with clean up afterwards. It’s never too early to sign up for these parties so contact us anytime. We are now partnering with local churches and businesses collecting toys and other items for distribution at the parties. Over the years, locally and internationally, over 100,000 children and families have been served. What a blessing it is to know that we had the opportunity to put God and His message in front of that many people! Little has changed in the 23 years we’ve had the privilege of serving poor, homeless and incarcerated people with these awesome parties. How you can help!Sponsor a Child
